USCIS to Allow H-1 Filings Until April 7

The USCIS has just finalized and published a rule on how it will handle cap-subject H-1 petitions.  The rule, which became effective March 24, makes 2 major changes:

1. Duplicate filings by the same employer for the same beneficiary will be denied or revoked and filing fees not returned.

2. The filing period will last for 5 business days.
